Easy Dump Cake

This is my “go to” easy dessert recipe. It’s low on effort, but very good. And the kids are able to help with minimal room for error.

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 2 30oz cans of fruit pie filling (any flavor)
  • half a stick of melted butter (optional)

Set your oven to 350 degrees, take a 9×13 inch cake pan. Spread the fruit pie filling evenly over the bottom of the pan. Cover evenly with the cake mix. Then cover the mix with butter if you want (I leave it off to keep the cake low fat and dairy free). bake covered for 15-20 minutes or until the top is lightly browned.

Let it sit for at least 1 hour to “set up” and then serve!
