Tuna Noodle Casserole
A childhood favorite of mine and a staple for my kids. Easy and quick dinner that make everyone happy and full!
- 1 12oz bag of egg noodles
- 2-3 5oz cans of tuna (drained)
- 2 10.5oz cans of Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 2-3 cups of crushed plain potato chips
- 1 10oz bag of frozen vegetable of choice (I grew up with peas)
- Boil and strain your noodles – set aside
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine your drained tuna, soup and vegetable, stir until smooth
- In a 9x13in cake pan or casserole dish, layer your noodles and tuna mixture one at a time starting with the noodles
- The last layer should end with tuna, which you then top with crushed plain potato chips
- If in a cake pan cover with foil, if in a casserole dish cover with the lid. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the center is warmed
- Take the cover off and bake for another 5-10 minutes or until the chips are lightly browned
- Let sit for 15 minutes to firm up and then serve!
